I just went under the knife myself and had Bilateral TKR. I had two previous arthroscopic surgery's. Both for ACL tears when I was younger and opted to just clean up the mess and brace my knees with Cti's and get back to racing sooner. Up till age 50 (just turned 54) its been fine. Just put my braces on to ski or ride. I'm 5 months out of surgery and still struggling with lots of pain and not really enough time to rest (back to work) did everything they recommended and went to 30 rehab sessions. I'll be following this article hoping to learn something. Good luck !
