Sunday's Workout: "The Foundation"

Not all workouts need to be high intensity to be effective. As a matter of fact, you should have a balance between high and low intensity sessions. One of the biggest mistakes I see rider's make is too much high intensity and not nearly enough of the low stuff. Think of low intensity work as the foundation of a building. The stronger and broader the foundation, the higher the peak of the building. The peak represents the higher intensity work.

Today's workout is called Foundation Training. I discovered this form of training a year ago and have incorporated it into all of my rider's routines as well as my own. I highly encourage you check it out and start applying it to your routines ASAP.

    With a little cold at the moment, this looks like the perfect workout for me right now. Or rather the right moment to start foundation Training. thanks for sharing

    If you buy the DVD you will find out two things. First that the presentation is a bit dry. But second and most importantly that Foundation Training is a very important and integral part of EVERY ONES routine. Good luck and let me know what you think!
