The 1971 Husqvarna Training Manual

This training manual from 1971 is a great piece of motocross training history. Much of the principles and methods are the same as today. If you are into history this is a must read!

Remember this was written in 1971 so some of the advice may seem obvious by today's standards. Like that given on page 22, "You should not smoke within one hour before the test. (Smoking is not conductive to good physical condition and motocross riders are advised to abstain.)"

    Cool to see some of my Vet riding friends as young athletes, especially Torleif Hansen whom is still fast at +60 but his knees are toast

    I can remember the owner's manuals for Husqvarna had sections in them on physical conditioning for moto. I think it was in the late '70's & early '80s.
