TRX for Cycling Video Workout
by Tim Crytser
It’s that time of year again. The Tour de France is on in full force, and every day is a battle for the top spot. Many of today’s top professional cyclists in the peloton such as Lance Armstrong and Levi Leipheimer are currently using the TRX as part of their training regime throughout the year. For those of you who want to train like Lance and Levi, Dan McDonogh, Group Programming and Development Manager here at FAI, has created an awesome new TRX workout designed to increase core and leg strength as well as balance and flexibility in cyclists, so you can execute with more power (and less fatigue!) on the bike. Below is a preview of the workout.
Oh and if you think this workout doesn't apply to motocross..... well you just haven't been paying attention!
To view the full workout, become our Fan on Facebook, and take your cycling performance to the next level. See you on the Tour!
If you are looking for more exercises to increase your performance on the bike or motocycle, check out the TRX Workout Page.
That's it for now, until next time, good luck with your training and remember, if you have a question, log on to the Virtual Trainer Expert Forum and have your question answered by a panel of experts. In addition, be sure and check out the Racer X Virtual Trainer archive section. Your complete one-stop information zone for motocross fitness. ![]()

I bought a TRX strap and I love to bike, and I race MX. But since I value my privacy, I will not join facebook. Why make it necessary to join that stupid website to get access to the workout? Is there a way to get it without joining?
I second that, Phil.
Guys, if you are worried about privacy join with a bogus name. I Facebook and twitter everyday and feel 100% secure with my privacy. Not real sure your concerns with privacy since you can completely lock your account down. But if you feel uncomfortable with it, just join as Johnny Moto and check out the TRX workout. It's definitely worth it.
Here is the link. Not sure if it will work or not but it is worth a try. Thanks guys!
