Humidity can rob pills of their potency, even when they’re tightly sealed. Store supplements in a hallway closet or bedroom nightstand.

Do you store your vitamins and pills in the kitchen or bathroom? The humidity from cooking and bathing can make your vitamins and medications deteriorate quickly, making them less effective, even when they’re tightly sealed. Vitamin C, for instance, can lose all of its potency within a week. Opening and closing bottles exposes pills to small amounts of moisture that gets trapped inside and leads to condensation. That’s why keeping your pills in the fridge is not a good idea either. Store them in the pantry, hall closet or bedroom instead. - Source The Cleveland Clinic
