Hi my name is Joe Smith, and i am addicted to cookies. Tim is my trainer i had a question about diet and nutrition and he told me to ask a lady named Kim. So Kim I cant stand veggies so I prefer to grind them up in a shake. Is there anything wrong with that does it kill the nutrients? I want to eat all organic but i don't have the money so if you had to choose what organic veggie and fruits to eat what would it be? Thanks God bless
P.S. It would be cool if you made an article about "what to eat on training day" Like sample menus

Grinding your veggies up is a fine way to eat them. You are not destroying the nutrients, cooking them does that.

I'm with you on organic choices being expensive! I can't afford to eat all organic either unfortunately. There are really no "best" choices as far as eating only some organic fruits and veggies. More importantly, choose a variety and choose darker colored fruits and vegetables.

I will keep your article idea in mind, thanks!

Joe get a book called "Eat this ...not That". There are several versions of the book. One is "eat this ...not That" for Grocery shopping, one for restaurants, and another one for kids. They are great books that tell you obviously what to eat and what not to eat. The books read more like a reference book than a book that you read from cover to cover. There is also a very informative section on eating organic food.

Kim has already written an article on what to eat on race day. Check it out here as well as the rest of the articles in the nutrition section. Thanks and see you at the gym!
