after talking with my doc today about how the pain meds are tearing my insides out and how this type of acl surgery is the most painfull i have ever had, tomo will be oen week and normally im completey off the meds by now. but thats a no go. i asked him why this one is so much more pain full? he said its because they took 2 large pices of bone out at each end of the patella graft,
so i do a little googling and i found a animated vid of the excact type of surgery they did, now after watching it it seems to hurt more haha

Cadaver graft - least amount of pain - longest heal time for the dead tissue to grow into u r body
Hamstring graft - fair amount of pain from your heal to your butt - heals fast
patella graft - most painfull Still hurts - heals fast - stronger tie-end into your body - overall stronger graft (what im told we will c)
