I am in week 9 of the program and really like it so far. My lactate test hr is 180 right now. My question my hr will automatically rise out of the zone after a certain time during a run and is this ok? I run mainly on a tred mill but also run outside. When I run outside it's impossible to keep my hr below 175 unless maybe I slowed to a almost walk. On treadmill I can control it more but my hr usually will automatically reach 165 after a certain amount of time And stay around there

Allso my question about cadence is it says 22 steps in 15 seconds. I reach this by taking smaller steps but if I ran any faster my hr will come out of whatever zone it should be in. Is there anything to solve these issues or should I not word about it.

Do whatever you have to do to keep your heart rate in the prescribed zone. If you have to walk, then walk. As you get in better shape you will notice that controlling your heart rate becomes easier.

Again, if the cadence throws your HR off, then don't do it. This is heart rate training and it is very important to stay in the prescribed zones. Hope this helps.

thank you it does help. I guess i will have to keeep my running on a tredmill. I been folling the cardio workout to a tee and am in week ten now. When i run outside my heart rate just jumps up to like 156 instantly, then stays around 170-175 for a while, then moves up to 180-185 and stays between there usually. Im not running fast ourside either im running 10 to 10:20 minute mile. I guess i just need to be more fit maybe
