Hi guys,
I am stuck working in South Korea for the next 9 months so no racing for me so i am just training until i can get back on a bike in January. At the moment i am doing lots of base training (low intensity zone 1) running and cycling and strength work with weights in the gym. As i have a good work schedule i am able to train twice a day in my time off.
In Korea we mostly eat rice here. Usually twice a day in fact. I was just wondering how eating so much rice will affect my diet given that it is a carbohydrate and i am doing low intensity work outs at the moment. SHould i try to eat something else? It would be possible i guess, but foriegn foods are VERY expensive here. I do try to cook pasta and can also get potatoes here. Any thoughts would be most welcome! Once again thanks for your help in advance.
Best wishes,
James
