OMG....I couldn't believe when I stepped on the scale today for the first time in months.....205! Last time I weight myself was late summer maybe and I was 195 so I was a little shocked. I eat really pretty clean and my 33" pants still fit great but man. I have not really lifted weights regularly for a good year prior to this (I was all about just cardio for the most part last year) so I am hoping this is just muscle weight...makes me feel better to think that anyway. :D

Anyone else gain weight following the program?

Edit: I am just starting week 11.

I have not and I would be very surprised if you have gained 10 lbs of muscle with this program. This is not a muscle building program in any way. Unless you were just emaciated before the program but I again I would be shocked. Especially in only 11 weeks.

As an engineer I always look at bathroom scales as having a really large error factor. Changes in temperature, humidity, and just general inaccuracies you have to be careful. If you are really concerned (and I'm not so sure you should be even if you have gained 10 lbs. of muscle) you should use a tape measure to keep track of things like biceps, chest, waist, thighs, etc. and not worry too much about the scale. But that's just my opinion.

Thank you for the reply.

I was a little taken back myself when I saw the # and knew it couldn’t all be muscle. Hopefully it was just a "heavy" day for me but really I guess it doesn’t matter as long as my cloths fit well and I feel good...which I do feel great and looking forward to cranking up the intensity in the next few weeks. I was doing a lot of road cycling this past year into the early fall (125 to 150 miles a week) so I would imagine I was at my lightest weight at the end of the season and hopefully that is the reason my weight has gone up. Good ideas on measuring waist, chest, etc...to keep track.
