I was counting the weeks from now untill the start of next season. I realized if i was going to give the 19 week program a go that i would have to start within the next 2 to 3 weeks to finish at a decent time. Originally i was going to go with the p90x but i think i have decided to do the 19 weeks instead. One of my questions is, will this program help me lose any weight? IM not saying alot but im about 5'11 180 lbs. I would like to drop 10 to 15 lbs. by the end of it along with the help of some good dieting. Is this possible on this program or will it not work out to well for that. I am not saying im fat, but i do believe i can lose some weight around my abs and sides.

Any program that consists of a healthy diet and CONSISTENT exercise will result in fat loss. P90X is great and I like it a lot. I just think that it is generally too intense for people who are not avid "exercisers" to begin with. But if you follow the complete P90X program (diet and exercise) you will lose fat. Nothing wrong with the 19 week program we have online. It is just built specifically for the guy who only has 1 hour per day 5 days per week to train.

Well i have the p90x if i was to give it a go. I just like being at the gym more then in my tight room doing the p90x. As much as i was looking for some fat lose, my main goal is to be in really good shape for racing for next year. I dont mind spending more then an hour at the gym i just thought the 19 week program would be better for motocross shape. I race in the A class and do longer motos. My biggest weakness always comes down to fitness. I love working out and im sick of not being fit enough to do as good as i know i can. Im never as fit as i need to be for the start of the season whcih makes it that much harder and llonger before i am in shape. So i want to do something about it this offseason.

Then I definitely recommend the 19 week program. You can always tweek it and add more volume if you have the time. For instance if the workout calls for a 1 hour zone 2 bike ride, you could do 1:15 and add 15 minutes additional stretching. If the strength training calls for 3 upper and 3 lower body exercises, add 2 to 4 more exercises depending on what you think you need work on and extend the workout. Its pretty easy to tweek and add more volume.

Stupid question but, when you say 2 sets of 20 and no rest circuit workout style, after i do the 20 reps what do i do? The next workout or another set of 20 right away? Ive always been used to more of a body building style of working out.

A circuit means you do exercise A (say, 20 reps) and then immediately move to exercise B, then exercise C, exercise D, and so on. After you complete the last exercise, that is one complete circuit. You rest for the prescribed amount of time and start the circuit again. What you are used to doing is called straight sets.
