I have read the caffeine article from the site but i still have some questions.
I'm not a proffesional rider but i train everyday, i'm trying to eat as healthy as possible and i race once or twice a month.
I managed to eat breakfast in the morning although it was very very difficult for me. The only thing that i don't want to quit is coffee. I really enjoy a cup of French coffee after eating my breakfast. How bad is it? I drink a lot of water and i noticed that when i drink a cup of coffee, i go to the toilet 4 times minimum in 40min. Does it dehydrates so much? Also i want to ask how many cups is it healthy to drink per day?

I wouldn't be concerned about your cup of coffee in the morning. Coffee has antioxidants so it does have some redeeming qualities. However, it is a diuretic so yes, it does cause dehydration.

300 milligrams per day is generally considered a safe amount of caffeine to consume. This is the amount found in 3 cups of coffee.

I too love my coffee in the morning. Here is an idea, drink decaf. If you are drinking the coffee for the pick-me-up, figure out why you need caffeine to stimulate you in the morning and fix that problem (lack of sleep, general diet, over training, etc.) I gave up caffeine about 15 ears ago and haven't missed it a bit...and I still love coffee. Thanks and hope this helps.
