This week's episode of the Racer X Virtual Trainer podcast show features GEICO Powersports Honda's Trey Canard and his trainer Greg DiRenzo (efitnessacademy.com). Trey was having a great year on the outdoor circuit, occupying third position in the 250 class, until an unfortunate crash at High Point left Trey with a broken right arm. The arm required surgery (a plate and 7 screws were installed) that will have the Honda rider out for another 7 weeks.

In this podcast I called Trey and Greg to see how Trey's arm is healing and what he is doing with his free time. Greg offers some training advice on what to do if you find yourself with a similar injury, Trey gives us the details of the crash, how he approaches the situation mentally, and his plans for the future.

And don't forget that all Virtual Trainer Podcasts are enhanced so be sure and download the m4a file to iTunes or QuickTime so you can enjoy the many features that an enhanced podcast offers. One cool thing along with the slideshow is that enhanced podcasts have chapters. Each question is marked with a chapter so you can fast forward and rewind question by question which makes for easy scanning. To take advantage of this feature use iTunes, your iPod touch, iPhone or similar device.

You will also want to make sure you subscribe to the RSS feed so that you are always up to date as I add more podcasts to the show. Thanks and enjoy!
