Go nuts for almonds. They really are good for you, and they make a portable, filling snack.
You’ve probably heard that a handful of almonds is a healthy snack, but here’s more convincing proof: People eating 1.5 ounces of dry-roasted, lightly salted almonds every day experienced reduced hunger and improved dietary vitamin E and monounsaturated (“good”) fat intake without seeing any uptick in weight. If you’re not a fan of almonds on their own, consider adding them to your salad, yogurt, or sprinkling them over your eggs!
