Week 6 - What to Expect

Week 6 marks the third full week of training in the Muscular Transition (MT) period. With Thanksgiving behind us, demands on your time will increase with the holiday season, so focus and don't make excuses. Do the work!
This week, we will increase volume with longer workout durations as well as added intervals to the cardio workouts. The change will not be drastic but is a critical part of slowly building from the previous week. This is week 3 of 4 in the MT phase.
Week six goals:
- Volume is on the rise, match caloric intake to ensure productive workouts and sufficient recovery.
- Keep HR in the correct HR zone during the Tempo session. Keep the HR very steady during the intervals.
- Reach momentary muscle failure on every set during strength training.
