Minimal weight loss, hi I am 54 and got back into a good fitness program to loose weight, been working out 6 days a week, 3 days of 90 minutes of aerobics spin bike treadmill stair machine, 2 days circuit training 90 minutes 5 minutes spin bike 6 sets/ 18 reps lower body, and 6 sets upper body trx, kettle ball and bowflex, repeated 6 times., and I ride mx with 2 30 minute motos on the weekend. I have only lost 3 lbs, but I have also lost 3% body fat, and I have been at this for 2 1/2 months My wife is a Ace certified personal trainer and she says I am on track, but my goal is more weight loss, should I cut one day of circuit training and replace it with another 90 minutes of aerobic training? Or should I just listen to my wife...LOL

Thanks for the reply

Well, for the sake of your marriage, listen to your wife :)

......and then read this article. I think the key to weight loss is higher intensity workouts (think crossfit) not long 90-minute workouts.

And yes, I would say you are on track. Have you modified your diet? If your diet is off, you can exercise until the cows come home .....and still look like one of the cows :)
