Just wanted to once again say thanks for all the Experts advice that you've given all of us Moto guys since the start of the forum. I have a somewhat complicated question but I will try to provide enough information to make it as easy as possible. After a late in the off season decision to get back to racing. Essentially started training again beginning of January. Our season hear begins end of April. I'm currently working with a trainer in the gym twice a week plus I have my road bicycle set up on a trainer indoors. My question is with the season about 2.5 month away. Should I bother working on a base or just start doing interval workouts on the trainer? If Yes, how much time should I dedicate a week to base building and interval training? How many weeks should I dedicate to base training etc? My lifting/gym program is set up good but I do my own cardio so any assistance would be great. I'm able to dedicate about 10 hours/week to training with my work/school schedule. Thanks again everyone at RVT

sorry for the late reply. the forum is supposted to notify me of all new posts but something is obviously wrong since I did not receive a notification. Please let me know if you stil need help on this topic.
And for what it is worth, no I would not skip the base.....
